The eUltimate project aims to help with decarbonization of public transport and deployment of electric buses. We are developing a Decision Support System (DSS) that designs the optimal charging system for a given city and quantifies the impact of the electric service on bus agencies and other stakeholders. The project is focused on the link between vehicle and charger, the cornerstone for their deployment in cities. eULTIMATE will present a vendor-agnostic DST to transit operators, cities and national/European associations, to allow them undertaking fleet renewal.
The workshop will be mainly focused on pilot testing in different European cities and also on the development of the Decision Support Tool.
eULTIMATE consortium comprises of cities, companies and universities joined in the EIT Urban Mobility project. EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). Since January 2019 it has been working to encourage positive changes in the way people move around cities to make them even better places to live.
The event will be held in person as well as recorded and broadcasted as videoconference.
